JUSTICE JITENDRA MOHAN SHARMA ORAL ORDER 11-04-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned A.P.P. for the State.

In this application for anticipatory bail the petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Phulwarisharif P.S. Case No. 473 of 2016 for the offences punishable under section 498 A of the I.P.C and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. A joint compromise petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner and the opposite party no.2 submitting therein that both parties have agreed to settle their dispute and the petitioner has paid Rs. 6,50,000/- and has also returned the house hold articles, ornaments and utensils etc. to the opposite party no.2 which has been received by her father. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2697 of 2017 (6) dt.11-04-2017 2/2 file petition for divorce with the mutual consent and the opposite party no.2 will file compromise petition in Fulwarisharif P.S. Case No. 473 of 2016. The compromise petition is duly supported with the affidavit of the petitioner and the opposite party no.2. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, now the petitioner, in case of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of. Smt. Seema Erani, J.M. 1st Class, Patna in connection with above mentioned case, subject to the conditions as laid down in section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. (Jitendra Mohan Sharma, J) Abhay/- U T
