The petitioners, who are in custody since 30.08.2020, seek bail in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No. 210 of 2020 dated 30.08.2020 instituted for the offence under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016.

From the prosecution report it appears that 135 litres of Nepali liquor has been recovered from their possession. The petitioners deny that anything was recovered from their possession. They claim to have been falsely implicated in this case.

Regard being had to their being persons of

No.35739 of 2020(2) dt.19-01-2021 2/2 clean antecedents and their period of custody, they are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II cum Special Judge Excise, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Basopatti P.S.
