The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Shankarpur PS case No. 1/2011 registered under Section 414, 420, 120B of the IPC.

The informant, S.H.O., Shankarpur PS, alleged that on 15.09.2010 during the course of vehicle checking he seized one Tavera vehicle bearing registration No. WB-38AM/ 9635 but the driver of the vehicle did not produce any papers on the ground that papers are at his home and the papers would be produced later on. The vehicle was seized. Later on Ranvir Kumar, the petitioner, appeared and produced the papers showing that he purchased the vehicle from Sunil Kumar Jha. Later on owner book of the vehicle was transferred to Satendra Prasad but during the course of enquiry and verification it was

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36426 of 2020(3) dt.24-06-2021 2/2 found that all the documents produced by the petitioner are forged and fabricated.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the victim of circumstances. He purchased the vehicle but documents are found to be forged. Taking into consideration the facts that it was the petitioner who, in order to get the vehicle released, produced forged and fabricated owner book and other documents of the vehicle, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
