1. Heard the parties.

2. This case comes up for the purpose of noticing whether the University has formulated any scheme containing instructions and guidelines to facilitate issuance of certificates based on cogent evidence.

3. A counter affidavit on behalf of the University has

Patna High Court CWJC No.21095 of 2018(8) dt.25-07-2022 2/2 been filed by the Deputy Registrar, Patna University and stated that in pursuance of the decision taken by the Academy Counsel and Syndicate at its meeting held on 8th of January, 2018 and on 27th January, 2018, a letter has been issued on 15th of February, 2018 to all the Deans to the Faculties and the Head of the Department of the University for issuance of a supporting certificate. Formats of three different types were sent for the purpose.

4. Considering the said affidavit, this Court is satisfied that the University shall henceforth be vigilant in releasing the certificates.

5. Taking into considering that the supporting certificate has already been issued to the Ph.D degree holders.

6. The writ petition is found to have become infructuous and accordingly, the same is dismissed as having become infructuous.
