2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Singhwara P.S. Case No. 97/2022 dated 01.06.2022 registered for the offences punishable u/s 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 354B, 380, 427 and 452 of the Indian Penal Code and later section 302 of the IPC.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons holding knife, pistol and iron fighter entered the house of the informant, Pradeep Sahni assaulted the informant's father with the butt of pistol and Ranjeet

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41465 of 2024(2) dt.20-07-2024 2/3 Sahni also assaulted on the head of his father with iron rod causing injury. It is further alleged that the petitioner and the co-accused also damaged the motorcycle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The name of the petitioner has sprung up during course of investigation. The other co-accused person has already been granted bail by this court vide order dated 17.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49237/2023 The petitioner has one criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 02.09.2023

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Darbhanga in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41465 of 2024(2) dt.20-07-2024 3/3 connection with Singhwara P.S. Case No. 97/2022.
