JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-06-2015 The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Koilwar P.S. Case No.223 of 2014 instituted under Sections-323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section-3 (i) (v) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 2005. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the dispute is essentially with regard to purchase of land. The offences, as alleged, are bailable except offences under Section-3 (i) (v) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 2005, which is imposed only to create harassment to the petitioner.
Be that as it may, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, the petitioner, namely, Umesh Singh, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial
