JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-12-2024 Heard Mr. Ram Prawesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Ms. Lalita Kumari, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the O.P. No. 2 and Mr. Narsingh Tanti, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 869C of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The present case relates to matrimonial dispute between the parties, who are husband and wife.

4. A report dated 30.10.2024 has been submitted by the learned Mediator, by which, it has been informed that in spite of learned Mediator's sincere efforts, the dispute between the parties could not be settled through the process of mediation and mediation has failed.

5. I am of the opinion that unnecessary bail applications should not be filed before this Court in respect of frivolous allegation and the manner in which the petitioner has shown his conduct by not resolving the dispute by way of amicable settlement.

6. Interim protection granted to the petitioner vide order dated 18.09.2024 stands vacated.

7. Accordingly, the present bail application stands disposed of.
