The petitioner seeks bail in Minapur Police Station Case No 245 of 2016 registered under Sections 461, 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the first information report. The petitioner was apprehended in Minapur Police Station Case No 244 of 2016 but nothing has been recovered from his possession. Petitioner was also remanded in this case. The police took his confessional statement but no further tangible material is collected to show the involvement of the petitioner. Petitioner is in jail since 20.10.2016.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14078 of 2017 (3) dt.27-04-2017 2/2 named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in Minapur Police Station Case No 245 of 2016.
