In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 289 of 2008 for offences under sections 341, 342, 323, 326, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
As per the first information report, allegation has been made, Many Singh @ Munchu Singh, Kundan Singh and Chandan Singh surrounded the informant and on the order of Kundan Singh, Many Singh, Tuntun Singh and Chandan Singh resorted the firing which hit back side of the informant. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the victim in his statement before the Police, has stated that he received the bullet injury from the gun of Many Singh, not of Chandan Singh. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18102 of 2015 (3) dt.09-07-2015 2/2 no denial in the statement made by the victim has also stated by resorting the fire arms by the petitioner.
