The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Piro P.S. Case No.78 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is said to have misappropriated the government money, which was given to him to do the work of Har Ghar Nal Jal Yojana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that the petitioner has already completed the work

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49355 of 2021(7) dt.12-12-2022 2/2 allotted to him.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner by submitting that the allotment of work to the petitioner is against the Rule. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
