At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Circle Officer, Karpi, District-Arwal i.e. the respondent no. 4, for taking appropriate action under the provisions of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 4 and in case, appropriate petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 6(1) of Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, within a period of four weeks from today, the respondent no. 4 shall examine the same and pass necessary orders, in accordance with law after hearing the affected parties, within a period of 12 weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
