The petitioners have filed the criminal writ petition for quashing the first information report arising out of Baruraj P.S. Case No. 84 of 2021, dated 20.05.2021 registered under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.955 of 2021(3) dt.10-04-2023 2/2 Code and 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Witch Practices Act, 1999.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that this case is absolutely false and has been made unnecessarily and by filing the false case the petitioners are being unnecessarily harassed. Upon bare reading of the first information report, offences are constituted against all the accused persons, which requires investigation.

In this view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to interfere and this writ petition is dismissed. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Shamshad/- U T
