2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 448 , 341 , 323 , 353 , 308 , 504, 506 and 34 of IPC .
3. The prosecution case, as stated in the F.I.R., is that the informant, who is posted in the office of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation as incharge control room, has lodged this case, alleging therein that on 20.3.2024, at about 12.30 p.m., when he was in his office, the petitioner, Prasanjit Singh, who is owner of Sisodiya Bus Services, along with some other coaccused persons, suddenly entered into his office and abused and assaulted the informant. He further demanded the route

No.41615 of 2024(3) dt.07-08-2024 2/3 permit of the buses of BSRTC, whereupon the informant replied that it is only the DTO who can ask for the permit and having heard this, the accused persons, including the petitioner, assaulted the informant by means of rods, fists, and slaps due to which informant sustained injury over his eyes, nose . It is further alleged that accused persons, while leaving the P.O., have threatened the informant with dire consequences.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case on account of route dispute for plying Transport vehicle . As a mater of fact, informant used to ply vehicle at the same time slot for which petitioner has also route permit, duly issued by competent authority i.e. R. T. O, Munger and due to that a verbal altercation took place between the parties and taking undue advantage of the same , this false and concocted case has been lodged against this petitioner.
5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is specific allegation against the petitioner that he along with other co-accused persons entered the office of the informant and brutally assaulted him. Petitioner has also got four criminal antecedent.
