The petitioner seeks bail in Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 213/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of deceased.

In the written report there is specific allegation against this petitioner of causing burn injury to the daughter of informant after sprinkling kerosene oil, on account of which she died.

Learned Addl. P.P. has submitted that in para 14 of case diary there is statement of victim (since deceased) in which she has stated that her husband has caused burn injury to her. Later on she died during course of treatment. In the post-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39035 of 2019(3) dt.26-08-2019 2/2 mortem report doctor has found burn injury on the person of deceased.

Considering the fact that victim has levelled direct allegation against this petitioner of causing burn injury to her, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
