The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 212 of 2020, dated 29.06.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. 40.125 litres of liquor is stated to have been recovered from a vehicle and the person who was arrested

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35907 of 2020(2) dt.22-01-2021 2/2 along with the liquor is said to have named three persons including the petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 12.08.2020 and does not have criminal antecedents.

Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner and the period of his custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II, Begusarai-Cum-Special Judge, Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, Begusarai in connection with Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 212 of 2020.
