The petitioners, who are the unmarried sisters -inlaw and the parents-in-law of the deceased respectively seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Atri P.S. Case No. 162 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It was submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the husband of the deceased was put on trial but he

This Court had called for the case diary and a report about the stage of the case. This Court actually wanted to know as to why the trial of the petitioners was separated. The report and case diary as asked for, has been received. The report indicates that the petitioners were not sent up for trial. Perhaps, this could be the reason for their trial being separated from that of the husband of the deceased.

Regarding being had to the afore-stated facts, the provisional granted to the petitioners vide order dated 26.08.2021, is hereby confirmed. They shall remain on the same bail bonds.

The petition stands allowed.
