The petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to refund the amount of Rs. 70707/- which was deposited by the petitioner for foodgrains along with 18% interest.

If anything is found due to the petitioner, it shall be released to him forthwith.

Under the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of.
