This is an application for bail in connection with Salaiya P.S.Case No. 30 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1 b) a, 26 of the Arms Act and 17 of C.L.A. Act.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is recovery of one country made pistol along with one cartridge and petitioner has remained in custody for five months. Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that petitioner is accused in similar type of other cases.

Having heard both sides and in view of the recovery coupled with the fact that he has criminal antecedent also, I am not

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within one year. Superintendent of Police, Aurangabad is also directed to ensure that witnesses are present in court on the date fixed so as to conclude the trial within the time specified.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
