The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "I. Issuance of directions/order/ writ in the nature of 'Mandamus' for directing the concerned respondents first party (specifically respondent number 4) to make entry of the serial number of currency seized in connection of K.Nagar P.S case number 290 of 2010 pertaining to G.R.No. 2504 of 2010, in the records of case.

iii. For issuance of directions/order/writ in the nature of 'Mandamus' directing respondent no.5 to meet the grievance of petitioner as there is no fault on his part.

For issuance of declaration that the petitioner is entitled to receive the amount to the tune of Rs 2, 90,000 (two lakh ninety thousand) in legal denomination in light of the order dated 27.04.2012 passed by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shivaji Pandey in Criminal Miscellaneous number 7106 of 2011 and final release order dated 29.05.2018 passed by Learned court of Judicial magistrate 1"

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies
