The petitioner is accused in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 272 of 2016, registered under Sections 366 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation of informant Narendra Dubey is that he along with his wife, who is handicapped, was going to Patna to see his sick son. On reaching the bus stand, the informant moved for purchasing some articles, while his wife was sitting on a bench at the bus stand. When informant returned at the said place then he found his wife missing. On inquiry, some persons disclosed that Santu Kumar and Sashi Kumar (Petitioner) had taken his wife on the pretext that they are going to filling form. In spite of search, he did not find any clue of his

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6818 of 2017 (3) dt.22-03-2017 2/2 wife and he suspected regarding kidnapping of his wife by the petitioner with the help of his father Krishna Prasad. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, there was love affaires in between Santu Kumar and the wife of the informant and they fled away due to their sweet will, but with ulterior motive, the petitioner, who is the brother of Santu Kumar son of Krishna Kumar has also been made accused in this case. The petitioner have no criminal antecedent is in custody since 10.01.2017.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad P.S.
