For the Respondent/s : Mr. Vijay Kumar Sinha =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 24-01-2018 From the enquiry report submitted by the Registrar General on 11.10.2017, it is seen that on account of a direction issued by the Registrar General earlier to withhold payment of salary to the respondent contemnor Aftab Ahmad, no salary was paid to him. In the meanwhile, he submitted an application for V.R.S. which has been accepted and now he stands retired on acceptance of his V.R.S. application, but no payment under the head of group insurance, gratuity or leave encashment has been made after his V.R.S. application was accepted and his pension papers have also not been finalized.

If that be so, while settling his post retiral claims after acceptance of his V.R.S., the claim of maintenance, which was to be

Patna High Court MJC No.3549 of 2016 dt.24-01-2018 2/2 paid to him by virtue of the order passed by the Court, be deducted and remitted to his wife's account and the remaining amount released in favour of the contemnor.
