The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sessions Trial No. 101 of 2020, arising out of Balrampur P.S. Case No. 112 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the materials available on record in the present case of broad burning, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, the Court below is directed to expedite the trial at the earliest and conclude the same

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36053 of 2020(2) dt.27-01-2021 2/2 preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The Superintendent of Police, Katihar is directed to ensure examination of all the prosecution witnesses at the earliest so that the trial may be concluded within the specified period of time. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the petition stands rejected.
