The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Khadagpur P.S. Case No. 84 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the FIR, the deceased lady was married to the petitioner in 2019 but was regularly tortured for providing Rs. 2 lac from his maternal house for which she made complaint through telephone. On the fateful day, the informant came to know about the alleged death whereafter the FIR was lodged. The petitioner being the husband cannot exonerate himself from having fail to protect his wife causing her death,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 39810 of 2022(2) dt.11-10-2022 2/2 this Court is not inclined to grant him any relief and the bail application is accordingly rejected.
