JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-07-2015 The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 897(C) of 2012 for the offences instituted under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and 4 of the D. P. Act.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The prosecution story, in brief, is that the complainant was married with the petitioner on 25.06.2004, but during the time of Bidai, the accused persons started demanding cash rupees One lakh as dowry, though Hero Honda Motorcycle, golden chain and golden ring etc., were given to the petitioner marriage gift. It is further alleged that when she came to her matrimonial house, the

No.20552 of 2015 (2) dt.02-07-2015 2 / 3 deamds were continued and consequent torture were also perpetrated to her in various ways and ultimately on 22.08.2011 on the pretext of religious function, they brought to a temple and thereafter they asked to go to her parental house and come with rupees one lakh, if desire to live at her matrimonial house and they also snatched both the children. Further it is alleged that on 27.05.2012, the accused petitioners refused to keep the complainant and also uttered that they will solemnize another marriage of her husband.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to deposit amount of Rs. 1,000/- each month in the court below which may be released in favour of the complainant.
On behalf of the State, it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.
Considering the fact that the petitioner is ready to deposit amount of Rs. 1,000/- each month in the court below which shall be released in favour of the complainant, let the above named, petitioner, be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today in connection with Complaint Case No. 897(C) of 2012 on
