JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 30-01-2021 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. Earlier the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 06.03.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 12654 of 2020 but due to Covid, the petitioner could not surrender in the court below within time specified by the Court. In the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present modification application for extension of time to surrender before the court below.

Considering the reasons assigned in this modification application, the same is allowed. The petitioner is granted 15

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7481 of 2021(2) dt.30-01-2021 2/2 days (Fifteen days) further time from the date of communication of this order to surrender before the court below (Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1, Madhubani) in connection with Tr. No. 777 of 2019 arising out of C.R. Case No. 531 of 2019. The other part of order dated 06.03.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 12654 of 2020 shall remain intact.
