The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Guthani P.S. Case No. 67 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 307 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

According to the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have fired causing pellet injury on the thumb of the informant.

Regard being had to the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Sanjeet/- U T
