Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kako PS Case No. 185 / 2020 registered under Sections 304 (B) / 201/ 34 of the I.P.C.

The marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized with the petitioner's son and within a few months of marriage the daughter of the informant has been killed by the petitioner and other family members due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and has falsely been implicated in this case on the basis of concocted story. He next submits that from perusal of the First Information Report it would be evident that the son of the petitioner and his daughter-

No.50505 of 2021(3) dt.10-05-2022 2/3 in-law used to quarrel due to some domestic dispute and the allegation against the petitioner and other family members are general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is aged about 70 years old and other accused persons i.e. mother-in-law ( Chameli Devi ) in Cr. Misc. No. 19620 / 2021 has been granted regular bail and other co-accused persons namely, Santosh Sapera, Suddu Sapera, Veena Sapera and Jamila Devi have been granted anticipatory bail vide Cr. Misc. No. 20072 / 2021 ( Annexure -2 to the bail petition). The husband of the deceased being a juvenile has also been granted bail by Special Court of learned A.D.J. 1st -cum- P.O., Children Court, Jehanabad.

Regard being had to the submissions made by the parties and taking into consideration the materials available on record, the fact that petitioner is the father- in- law of the deceased aged about 70 years, allegation against him is general and omnibus in nature, other accused persons have been granted bail, petitioner is in custody since 17-3-2021 and charge sheet has already been submitted, as such, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20000/- ( twenty
