The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the accused persons including the petitioner herein who happens to be the son-in-law of the informant was regularly making demand of six kathas of land and were torturing the daughter of the informant. Ultimately she was done to death and her body was disposed of by burning.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased. The allegations are false and malicious. Referring to paragraph no. 45 of the case diary, it is stated that the 10 year old daughter

No.49815 of 2021(5) dt.28-04-2022 2/2 of the deceased as also the petitioner in the said paragraph has categorically stated that her mother / deceased locked herself in a room and hung herself. The petitioner is in custody since 30.4.2020 and charge has been framed on 19.4.2022. Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the material that has transpired in course of investigation together with charge having been framed in the learned trial court, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Pandaul P.S. Case no. 70 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani.
