The petitioners are in custody in connection with Sikrahata P.S. Case No. 23 of 2019 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 15.03.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 50 litres of country made liquor was seized. He also submits that the alleged liquor was seized from the motorcycle and not from the conscious possession of the petitioners.
