The petitioner seeks bail in Madhepura P.S. Case No. 272 of 2016 registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant lodged the case against the unknown. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The name of the petitioner figured in the confessional statement of the co-accused Tufani Yadav from whose possession voter ID card and driving license were recovered. Tufani Yadav has already been enlarged on bail by a bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 33120 of 2016. The petitioner was not put on T.I.P. and no incriminating article was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in jail since 11.01.2017.
