Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that a vigilance case bearing Vigilance Case No.74B/2012 is pending before respondent no.2, for its adjudication since the year 2012 and same may be directed to be disposed of within a specified period after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties.

3. Considering the specific relief prayed for in the present writ petition, the Municipal Commissioner, Patna

Patna High Court CWJC No.10416 of 2022(3) dt.28-03-2024 2/2 Municipal Corporation is directed to first satisfy himself with the report submitted by the vigilance officer with respect to the allegation made against the concerned persons, who are inhabitants of the Shivam Enclave, Block A and Ram Vilas Enclave, Block B. In case, the allegations are not sustainable then in that case, the vigilance case may be dropped, or otherwise, he is directed to hear all the affected parties and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks.
