JUSTICE RAJESH KUMAR VERMA ORAL ORDER 28-06-2024 Heard Mr.Rishi Raj Raman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.Nirmala Kumari, learned APP for the State. The present modification application is filed for modification (extension of time) of the order dated 13.12.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.56429 of 2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner tried to obtain the details of amount, which was to be refunded by him to the Patna Municipal Corporation but the details could not be provided on time. Thereupon, the petitioner submitted an RTI application and vide letter no. 788 dated 2604-2024, the Patna Municipal Corporation provided the details of wages paid to the petitioner from 1993 to 1995. Further submits that upon receipt of the letter, it was found that the

The petitioner deposited the amount with the Patna Municipal Corporation on 17-05-2024 by way of a demand draft of Rs. 6,134/-dated 16-05-2024 issued by State Bank of India, Patna Main Branch bearing no. 279106 due to this very reason the petitioner could not surrender and furnish bail bonds within the stipulated time and there was delay on account of Patna Municipal Corporation.

For the reasons stated in the modification petition, the time for surrender of petitioner-Ajay Kumar Raut and furnishing bail bonds granted in terms of order dated 13.12.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.56429 of 2023 is extended by two weeks from today.

Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
