The petitioner seeks bail in Kumarkhand (Belari O.P.) P.S. Case No. 48 of 2017 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The police raided the house of the petitioner Suryanarain Mandal and from his house one gallon containing 5 liters of country made liquor was recovered. For that the petitioner is in jail since 09.03.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for 11⁄2 months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18782 of 2017 (2) dt.26-04-2017 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in connection with Kumarkhand (Belari O.P.) P.S. Case No. 48 of 2017.
