The petitioner seeks bail in Maner P.S. Case No. 549/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. The petitioner was arrested on the allegation that he was preparing country-made liquor from Mahua. 200 litres of countrymade liquor made from Mahua was recovered and for that petitioner is in jail since 08.12.2016.

It is submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and petitioner has already remained in jail for three months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10932 of 2017 (2) dt.07-03-2017 of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Danapur, Patna in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 549/2016.
