JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 06-04-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Asaon P.S. Case 80 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 304 'B' of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is husband of the deceased. It is alleged that the petitioner committed murder of his wife by setting her on fire for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

From the written report itself it appears that the marriage of daughter of the informant has taken place on 6.3.2012 and death occurred in her sasural on account of burn injury on 28.8.2016 i.e. within four years of marriage. The doctor has opined the cause of death in the post mortem report, is burn injury.
