JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL ORDER 09-11-2017 A cost of Rs.15,000/- is imposed on the Vice Chancellor as well as the Registrar of the University because they have failed to file counter affidavit and render assistance for adjudication despite the writ application having been filed way back on 16.06.2016 and thereafter adjournment granted to the University on a prayer of the University on 01.03.2017 for a period of four weeks which has not been complied till November, 2017. The cost will be payable to the petitioners for their harassment, which will be payable jointly by the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar from their pocket and not from the University fund. Writ is disposed off putting the burden upon the Vice Chancellor of the University now that he will decide the grievance of the petitioners with regard to revision and refixation of their pension and payment of arrear in view of the notification dated 29th July, 2010 notified by the State

Patna High Court CWJC No.9528 of 2016(5) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 Government fixing the new pay scale to make them at par with 6th Pay Revision Committee recommendation made available to the State Government employees. The decision must be taken and communicated to the petitioners, if not grievance redressed, if entitled, within a period of three months from the date of filing of application with a copy of this order. This order has been passed in the light that no counter affidavit has been filed which could have assisted the Court in adjudication. Writ stands disposed off.
