2. The writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:

I). For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and Commanding the Respondents to take appropriate action against the respondents No. 4 & 5 for their not take steps against the accused persons.

II). For issuance of a direction order or writ including Cr. writ, the commanding the informant Most. Ranju Devi lodged the F.I.R. against the accused persons, namely Meghan Rai, Natho Rai,

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1258 of 2024(3) dt.07-07-2025 2/2 Vikash Kumar, Fulla Devi, Nitish Kumar and Ranju Devi for which in F.I.R. bearing Athmal Gola P.S. Case No. 160/2022, Offences under Section 120(b), 302, 34 I.P.C.

iii). For issuance of a direction order or writ, the nature of mandamus commanding the concerned respondent authorities under the state Govt. to take steps against the accused persons named in the aforementioned case for the ends of justice.

3. Pursuant to the order dated 30.06.2025, the SHO of Athmalgola Police Station, Patna and the I.O. of the case have appeared. The SHO has informed this Court one accused person has been arrested and against two accused, process under Section 83 has been executed. He has assured this Court that the investigation of the case shall be concluded at the earliest preferably within two months.

4. In these circumstances, the application is disposed of.
