The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No. 120 of 2016, registered under Section 47(A) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The accusation is that on receiving secret information about keeping illicit liquor in the house of Bhushan Thakur in village Anandpur, the Police raided the house of Bhushan Thakur and 624 bottles, each containing 180 ML, 168 bottles, each containing 375 ML and 432 bottles, each containing 500 ML India made foreign liquor recovered. At that time, this petitioner was apprehended from there.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that admittedly, the petitioner is the son of co-accused Bhushan

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13457 of 2017 (3) dt.20-04-2017 2/2 Thakur and due to that reasons, the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 15.04.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Child Court, Muzaffarpur in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No. 120 of 2016.
