The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B/34of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case as lodged by the informant is that his daughter Gudia Khatoon was married to Sri Ram Sah one and half years ago. Just after marriage his daughter was being tortured by the husband and his family members. On 06.03.2019 in the night he received information that his daughter has been killed by the husband and in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35497 of 2019(3) dt.14-08-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegation against the petitioners is false and they have committed no offence. He further submits that husband of the deceased is already in jail. Petitioner no. 1 is the father-in-law, petitioner no. 2 is Nanad and petitioner no. 3 is the cousin Bhaisur of the deceased.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Sikrahana, Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Dhaka Police Station Case No. 81 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
