This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Lodipur P.S. Case No.18 of 2026 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109(1), 76, 324(4), 303(2), 352 and 351(2) of the B.N.S., 2023.

The petitioner and others are said to have assaulted the informant, tried to outrage her modesty and also resorted to damage the household articles beside taking away cash/ornaments.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are close relatives of the informant and they are witnesses in a case relating to murder of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39746 of 2026(2) dt.07-07-2026 2/2 the husband of the informant, in which the informant been made accused and the present case is nothing but at attempt of the informant to save herself from the earlier case of murder of her husband.

Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioners, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within six weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Bhagalpur / concerned Court below, in connection with Lodipur P.S. Case No.18 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
