2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 21 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 85, 115(2), 109, 127(2), 351(2), 352, 3(5) of the BNS and under Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and others are accused of demanding dowry from the informant and upon non-fulfillment of the same, the informant was subjected to assault and torture.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 14.04.2026.

5. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner, being the husband of the informant is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this

6. Considering the facts of the case and also considering the fact that the matter has been settled between the parties, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned concerned Court below in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 21 of 2026.

8. As a condition of this order, the Court below, before accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner, will verify the factum of compromise between the parties. It is made clear that the bail bonds of the petitioner shall only be accepted if the informant supports the factum of compromise.
