JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-07-2015 The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. 187 of 2014 for the offences instituted under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 386 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that the informant was coming to his house from his brick kiln and near Bajrangbali Mandir the accused persons stopped him and dragged out from Scorpio vehicle. The accused persons putting in fear demanded Rs. 2,00,000/- in rangadari. The informant went to police statation and lodged a case vide Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. 186/2014. It is also alleged that on 26.07.2014 the accused persons came at the

When they did not find the informant, they caught Bikram Mahto, assaulted him resulting injury and they confined him in the Mandir. When the informant came to know the alleged offence he informed the police. The police reached and saved Bikram Mahto and brought him at Dhamdaha hospital from where the injured was referred to Sadar Hospital, Purnea.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further it has been submitted that so far as demand of Rs. 2,00,000/- is concerned, the same is against other accused. So far as the allegation of assault is concerned, the same is omnibus and general in nature. No specific injury whatsoever has been attracted against the petitioner.

On behalf of the State, it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named, petitioner, be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today in connection with Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. 187 of 2014 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned
