2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 376, 500, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, while the informant had gone to attend the call of nature in the field, the petitioner caught hold of the informant and started pressing her neck. It is further alleged that one year ago petitioner used to talk with the informant on mobile phone and he also established physical relation with her and took her obscene photographs and started blackmailing her.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41712 of 2024(2) dt.16-07-2024 2/2 implicated in this case. There was love affair between the parties and informant wanted to marry the petitioner but when the petitioner refused to marry her the informant filed this false case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that the victim in her 164 Cr.P.C. statement has supported the prosecution case.

6. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashi/- U T
