This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(c) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. From a vehicle more than eighty kilogram of ganja was recovered and three persons were apprehended, including the petitioner. The petitioner confessed his guilt under Section 67 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Submission of the petitioner is that he has been remanded in this case on 06.08.2016 and nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and the petitioner has got no criminal

Considering the fact that commercial quantity of narcotic has been recovered, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
The prayer for bail is refused.
