====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 21-09-2022 By order dated 12.12.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 63344 of 2018, the petitioner was directed to be enlarged on bail provided he furnished surety of ten thousand along with a receipt of payment of Rs. 3,80,000/- in favour of Executive Engineer, Electric Supply Department, Narkatiaganj, West Champaran. This had to be done within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of the order. For reasons which have been explained in the present petition, the petitioner could not deposit the aforesaid amount in time, though he is ready to deposit it if

Considering the aforenoted submission on behalf of the petitioner, the order dated 12.12.2018 is modified to the extent that if the petitioner surrenders before the court below within the next six weeks along with a receipt of payment of Rs. 3,80,000/- in favour of Executive Engineer, Electric Supply Department, Narkatiaganj, West Champaran and furnishes a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount, he shall be released on bail by the concerned court, subject to the other conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, the order dated 12.12.2018 is modified to the extent indicated above.
