The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Singheshwar P.S. Case No. 222 of 2016 registered under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Accusation is that 14 sealed bottles, each containing 375 ML, of foreign liquor was recovered from garage of Arvind Kumar Yadav, who disclosed that the said liquor was kept by this petitioner.
Submission is that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case merely on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Arvind Kumar Yadav. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since27.02.2017.
