Patna High Court CWJC No.6807 of 2015 dt.27-08-2018 2/2 Section 17(2) (b) of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 and for further direction upon respondent concerned to take action against the Mukhiya of Bhakura Panchayat situated in Tarari Block in Bhojpur, in terms of Section 18(5) of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006.

At the outset, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that due to efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous as the tenure for which the previous election was held has already come to an end and a fresh election has already been taken place in the year 2016.

In view of the submission made above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
