Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 47/53 of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

From perusal of the record, it would appear that the petitioner was caught red handed, while he was engaged in selling illicit liquor and huge quantity of country made illicit liquor were recovered from his house.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25669 of 2016 (2) dt.21-06-2016 the petitioner on bail. Hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Balmiki Nagar P.S. Case No. 29 of 2016, pending in the Court of Sri A.K. Singh, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bagha (West Champaran) stands rejected.
