The petitioner has been in custody since19.12.2017 in connection with Mahkar P.S. Case No. 174/2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 341/323/325/307/504 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was added.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the present petitioner is not named in the First Information Report, yet in the subsequent statement, her name has been included as an afterthought. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that there is no allegation of any specific overtact against the present petitioner and the allegations are general and omnibus in nature.

Case No. 174/2017.
