Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Sonbarsa PS Case No.100 of 2017, giving rise to Sessions Trial No.9 of 2018, registered under Sections 304(B) and 201 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that the wife of the petitioner was killed for not fulfilling the dowry demand. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the husband and his wife committed suicide by hanging herself; whereas learned counsel for the State submits that the wife of the petitioner was killed and later on her dead body was being cremated and on information, police reached there, half burnt body was seized and postmortem revealed that

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioner, the husband of the deceased, is rejected with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial.
